Python Developer

Job Title: Senior Python Backend Engineer Location: Jersey City, NJ (Rutherford, NJ also considered), Hybrid Duration: 5 months (Contract-to-Hire) Role Overview: Design and build scalable Python backend applications, microservices, REST APIs, and data processing pipelines. Leverage LLMs/GenAI to develop innovative backend solutions for enterprise data and analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities: Develop scalable Python backend services, REST APIs, and microservices. Build data ingestion, ETL, and processing pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Integrate LLMs/GenAI into backend applications. Follow TDD, CI/CD, coding standards, and deployment best practices. Collaborate with global teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. Required Skills: Strong experience with Python, REST APIs, microservices, OOP, and data processing. Hands-on with TDD, CI/CD, Git/JIRA workflows. Experience with AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) or similar. Preferred: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, MySQL. Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift. Splunk, monitoring, data pipeline experience. Risk domain experience. Exposure to LLMs, GenAI, and distributed systems.
