Senior UI Developer

Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise level organization, is looking for a Senior UI Software Engineer that will will design, develop, test, and enhance highly scalable user-facing software systems and applications. Position Summary: This individual will work primarily with Angular, NestJS, AWS, and Redis while supporting sophisticated cloud-based and internet-related platforms. The ideal candidate has at least five years of software engineering experience, is comfortable working in an Agile environment, and demonstrates a proactive approach to learning emerging technologies, data engineering tools, and development methodologies. What type of experience does the right candidate have: Minimum of 5 years of related software engineering experience. Strong proficiency in Angular. Experience with NestJS. Experience working with Amazon Web Services. Experience with Redis. Experience designing and developing highly scalable software systems and applications. Strong application testing and debugging skills. Comfortable working in an Agile environment. Proactive approach to continuous learning and technical skill development. Interest in learning emerging data engineering tools and methodologies. What the responsibilities are of the right candidate: Design, develop, test, and implement scalable software components, systems, and applications. Analyze, program, debug, and modify existing software products and enhancements. Build and enhance user-facing applications using Angular and NestJS. Perform application testing, troubleshooting, and debugging. Write high-quality code at the component level. Support large and highly sophisticated software programs and systems. Collaborate with users and stakeholders to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Develop software for commercial applications, end-user applications, infrastructure, and technology platforms. Lead small software development projects when needed. Identify and implement system fixes, improvements, and new capabilities. Remain current on emerging technologies, engineering tools, and development methodologies. Work collaboratively within an Agile development environment.
