Software Engineer

This role owns the design, development, and testing of robust, high-performing software systems and applications, spanning both new product builds and enhancements to existing platforms. Core Responsibilities Participate across the entire software development lifecycle, from planning through deployment Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code that adheres to team coding conventions Translate requirements into technical specs and assess what's realistically achievable Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate and ship components reliably Partner with customers on end-to-end testing and validation Diagnose and resolve issues in existing systems, including upgrades and debugging Requirements 5+ years of relevant experience Solid backend development background in Java, with a track record of shipping production systems Hands-on AWS experience — Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, or comparable cloud services Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc) Familiarity with a major Java framework (Spring, Spring Boot, Quarkus, etc.) Preferred Kubernetes experience building and orchestrating microservices Comfort working with Dockerized applications Additional language proficiency beyond Java (Python) Working knowledge of security, privacy, and performance best practices
