Position Overview Our client is a well-established organization located in Houston's Park 10 / Energy Corridor area. They are seeking a motivated and analytical Data Analyst who can transform complex data into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations. This role offers direct exposure to executive leadership and key stakeholders throughout the organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in improving reporting capabilities, enhancing business visibility, and supporting strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Collaborate with executives and business leaders to understand reporting requirements and deliver meaningful analytics solutions. Create, monitor, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics. Gather and document reporting requirements from stakeholders across the organization. Translate business objectives into scalable reporting and analytics solutions. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of organizational data and reporting. Provide recommendations that improve business processes, operational efficiency, and decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field preferred. 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI. Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, reports, and executive-level presentations. Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience partnering directly with business leaders and executive teams. Proven ability to transform data into clear, actionable business recommendations. Preferred Skills SQL experience strongly preferred. Experience with data visualization best practices. Knowledge of data modeling and reporting methodologies.
