Aim Trucking is a diversified and growing transportation specialist. We have 25 years of operating experience in North Eastern BC.Our main area's of expertise are (but not limited to) on and off highway hauling, mine and local delivery of LTL freight, industrial warehousing, picker trucks as well as rental equipment. We are currently recruiting permanent full-time Class One Drivers to expand our team of transportation and logistics professionals in British Columbia. We are looking for the following in our candidates: Responsibilities: * Haul Deck loads of heavy equipment parts to and from various mines * Conduct pre-operational and post-operational inspections of DOT controlled vehicles * Operate loading and unloading equipment as required * Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch * Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time * Maintain a clean and organized truck * Desired skills and Experience: * * Must hold valid Class 1 license * Availability to work a rotational shift * Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol clearance * Excellent communication skills * Ability to navigate work sites, and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work * Acceptable drivers abstract * We are offering Full time employment, we offer LOA as well as paid company housing. we offer a competitive wage as well as possibility for advancement. we encourage applicants to contact us with resumesJob Types: Full-time, PermanentExperience: * Flat deck (chaining and securing loads) * Walking floor trailer experience would be an asset * On and off highway driving (Preferred) * Able to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision * H2S,OFA level 1 (Preferred but not required) * Licence: * Class 1 Drivers License with no restrictions (Required) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $34.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chetwynd, BC
