Job ID: DMND0004203 Job Title: Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead Location: 6230 E Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78744 Work Arrangements: Hybrid (2 Days per week Onsite) Interview: Webcam only Complete job Description: Role Overview The Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead will be responsible for overall Agile delivery management, coordination with TxDOT stakeholders, and ownership of all sprint-level and project-level documentation. This is an Austin, TX based role with a minimum 2-day per week onsite presence at TxDOT HQ – Stassney. Key Responsibilities Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across 3-week sprint cycles. Manage and track Epics, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps including acceptance criteria, story points, and effort classifications (XS through XL). Coordinate backlog grooming, sprint prioritization, and dependency management across UI and API automation tracks. Prepare and deliver all required documentation including Weekly Status Reports, Sprint Plans, Sprint Summaries, and Transition to Operations package. Ensure all deliverables are saved to the TxDOT-specified Azure DevOps repository per TxDOT standards. Coordinate and schedule all test case demos with TxDOT delivery lead at completion of each user story. Serve as the primary point of coordination between TxDOT stakeholders and the delivery team. Monitor sprint velocity, identify carryover risks, and proactively communicate blockers to TxDOT. Ensure adherence to Agile best practices, Definition of Done, and TxDOT quality standards. Be physically present at TxDOT HQ – Stassney, Austin, TX for a minimum of 2 days per week. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on Java test automation projects. Must be located in Austin, TX — local presence is a mandatory requirement. Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for Agile delivery, work item management, and reporting. Proven experience delivering software projects using Agile methodologies in government or enterprise environments. Experience coordinating deliverable documentation across multi-disciplinary technical teams. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and meeting facilitation skills. Show more Show less
