Role Description This is a contract Web Developer role based on-site in Brooklyn, NY. The Web Developer will design, build, and maintain web applications that support our team's digital presence, including property search, agent profiles, and client-facing tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing front-end interfaces, implementing back-end functionality, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and ensuring responsive design across devices and browsers. The role involves collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, as well as troubleshooting issues, maintaining code quality, and following secure development practices. Qualifications Strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and responsive Web Design. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming, such as building APIs, managing databases, and integrating server-side logic. Demonstrated Web Development experience across the full stack, including deployment, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate non-technical requirements into effective technical solutions. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows. Experience with accessibility standards and secure coding practices in web environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Previous experience in client-centric industries is a plus.
