API Developer

Job Summary API Developer Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs for healthcare applications (member portals, provider platforms, claims systems, pharmacy apps). Lead backend service development and integration initiatives within a large-scale healthcare technology environment. Utilize Java (8+ years experience) and Spring Boot (or similar frameworks) for backend development. Build and integrate APIs and microservices with hands-on experience in REST architecture. Work with JSON, data modeling, and data transformation for seamless data exchange. Manage and interact with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Develop solutions leveraging AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3). Participate in CI/CD processes and use Git for version control and code reviews. Operate effectively in Agile/Scrum teams, providing independent solutions and handling ambiguous requirements. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prefer candidates with experience in healthcare data exchange, FHIR, API security/authentication, and knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript. Show more Show less
