Cloud Engineer (AWS / Terraform) Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Hybrid -onside 3 days a week) Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 DOE (no annual bonus) plus medical, dental, vision, PTO Direct HIre: Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship Our client is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join its Technical Architecture team, supporting AWS cloud initiatives and helping redesign and stabilize cloud network infrastructure. This role is a high-priority backfill and is critical to ongoing cloud modernization efforts. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with the Cloud Architect and a small, collaborative technical team. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone with 2–3+ years of AWS experience and strong Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) expertise who can work independently and be trusted with production systems. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and support AWS cloud infrastructure Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Support cloud network redesign and modernization initiatives Partner with architects and engineering team members on cloud strategy and execution Troubleshoot cloud and infrastructure issues; perform root cause analysis Ensure cloud environments adhere to security, reliability, and best-practice standards Contribute to architectural discussions and provide technical recommendations Required Qualifications 2–3+ years of hands-on AWS experience Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code Solid understanding of AWS networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, etc.) Experience supporting production cloud environments Ability to work independently and deliver reliable solutions AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification (highly preferred) The client is ready to interview, apply now!!
