Role Overvie wAthena is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to play a critical role in the growth of our organization. As part of the Data and Machine Learning Innovation team, you will contribute to the development of world-class data solutions that empower data scientists, ML engineers, and researchers working with the Athena Foundation Model lifecycle . We are looking for an experienced engineer who can develop and maintain both client-side and server-side web applications. You will ensure seamless integration between front-end interfaces and back-end systems while optimizing performance, scalability, and securit y. Responsibiliti es:Design and develop responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces and scalable back-end syste ms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and engineers to deliver cohesive and high-performing applicatio ns.Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with third-party services and internal too ls.Analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and translate them into effective technical solutio ns.Adhere to best practices in software development including Agile methodologies, code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testi ng.Create and manage efficient, secure, and scalable databases using PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or equivalent technologi es.Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring speed, scalability, and robust security protoc olsYou have worked closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, estimate efforts accordingly, and ultimately deliver high quality work on-ti me.Qualificati ons57+ years of experience in full-stack developme nt.Expertise in front-end technologies such as React/Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and modern CSS (Tailwind or equivalen t).Strong back-end experience with Node.js; experience integrating REST or WebSocket APIs; familiarity with Python-based backends (FastAP I).Proficient in working with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and streaming data pipelines with Kaf ka.Solid understanding of API design and developme nt.Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical solutio ns.Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experienc e).Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable, efficient architectur es.
