The Role The IT Integration Engineer will be a key member of Veeva's Global IT delivery team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-scale integration solutions and data architectures that power our internal business operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced integration engineer who excels at translating complex business requirements into scalable, cloud-native technical designs across SaaS platforms. This role requires both strong hands-on technical execution and the ability to communicate effectively across business and technical stakeholders at all levels. Collaborate with system analysts, platform architects, and business SMEs to derive integration requirements and translate those needs into detailed technical designs. Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable integration solutions, adhering to best-practice standards in performance, maintainability, exception handling, and recovery. Apply security and availability best-practice principles to data architecture design and the implementation of integration frameworks. Develop and implement efficient and scalable data models and schemas to support transactional integrations and analytics implementations. Design, develop, test, and implement ETL solutions for data warehousing needs. Own and maintain the enterprise integration portfolio, partnering with the Enterprise Architect to ensure alignment with the Applications IT Roadmap. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Hands-on experience with modern cloud integration platforms; Boomi is highly preferred. Mulesoft, Informatica, AWS Lambda, Talend, or other open-source iPaaS experience will be considered. Experience designing, deploying, and managing Boomi Atoms, Molecules, and Atom Clouds in an enterprise environment. Experience designing and publishing managed APIs using Boomi API Management or a comparable API gateway platform. Demonstrated experience monitoring, alerting, and operationally supporting live integration environments, including error handling, retry logic, and incident response. Proven experience implement
