Position Details: Job Title: Scrum Master II ( Oracle cloud) Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office) Duration: 6+ months contract We are seeking a Scrum Master II with 3–5 years of experience to coach Agile teams, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe preferred) . The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Scrum and Kanban , leveraging flow-based metrics to improve delivery predictability and team performance. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and scaled Agile events. Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, Lean-Agile principles, and self-organization. Partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs, sprint planning, and release planning. Track Agile metrics, remove impediments, and improve delivery outcomes. Manage cross-team dependencies and communicate progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders. Foster psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Must-Haves 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams. Strong expertise in Kanban , including cycle time, throughput, WIP limits, backlog flow optimization , and applying Kanban alongside Scrum. Proven Agile coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to build trust, foster psychological safety, and enable self-organizing teams. Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe preferred) , including cross-team planning, dependency management, and Inspect & Adapt events. Strong systems thinking , backlog management, metrics-driven delivery, impediment removal, and stakeholder communication skills. Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and using delivery metrics to improve predictability. Preferred Qualifications Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent). Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field. Experience coaching Agile transformation initiatives or spec-driven/design-first development practices. Excellent written, verbal, and virtual communication skills.
