Frontend Developer

Job Title: Frontend Engineer Location: Sunrise FL (3 days onsite and 2 days remote) Duration: 5 months contract Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into clean, efficient code Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences Create reusable and scalable component libraries Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization Apply modern UI/UX principles to improve usability and accessibility Take ownership of end-to-end UI development including design involvement Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers Ensure adherence to best practices such as clean coding, modular architecture, and testing Mandatory Skills React.js (Advanced) Hooks, Context API, Redux/Zustand (state management) Functional components, lifecycle management Performance optimization (lazy loading, memorization) UI/UX Design Experience (MANDATORY): Strong understanding of design principles (Typography, color theory, spacing, layout) Experience with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes Knowledge of Design Systems and Component-driven design Front-End Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) Responsive design (Flexbox, Grid) CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material UI) Version Control: Git, Git workflows Preferred Skills Experience with Next.js Knowledge of TypeScript Familiarity with UI performance tuning Understanding of Accessibility (WCAG standards) Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology Experience Required 8 10 years in Frontend/UI development At least 2 3 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design Best Regards, David Roy | Accounts Manager US Staffing | Charter Global Inc. | https://www.charterglobal.com LinkedIn
