Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack Engineer (AI-Focused) Stealth-stage startup, San Francisco Bay Area. Onsite 5 days a week. We're a small, early team building AI agents that automate the manual work holding back a massive, overlooked industry. You'd be one of the first engineers, working directly with the founders and shipping product that customers use from day one. What we're looking for (5-7 years of experience): You've shipped production applications with NestJS, TypeScript, and React, and you're fluent across the stack. You've built and shipped at least one AI agent that's actually running in production, not a demo. You've deployed on AWS at real traffic, owned production incidents end to end from diagnosis to fix, and can walk through system design decisions you personally made and why you made them. You have strong engineering fundamentals built before the AI-assisted era, so you understand what your tools are doing under the hood rather than trusting them blindly. Our stack: Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, React, Terraform, AWS, LLM and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and observability tooling (Datadog, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch). This role is onsite in the Bay Area five days a week. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
