About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom applications within the VTEX IO platform and Store Themes. Your expertise will be essential in configuring and optimizing various components such as Checkout, Promotions, Master Data, OMS, Catalog, and Payments. You will work on building high-performance storefronts using React and TypeScript, ensuring optimal Core Web Vitals, server-side rendering, and caching strategies. Additionally, you will design and implement microservices and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring security, observability, and high availability. The role also involves mobile app development with Flutter, integrating payment methods, push notifications, real-time communication, and Firebase services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, mentor junior developers, and create comprehensive technical documentation, taking ownership from design to deployment and operation. Qualifications Proven experience with VTEX ecosystem including store configuration, customization, VTEX IO, and app development Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 with a focus on responsive and mobile-first design Experience in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript, designing REST and GraphQL APIs Knowledge of ORM tools such as TypeORM, Prisma, or Sequelize and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles Understanding of security protocols including OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, and input validation Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest for unit testing and Cypress for end-to-end testing Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes Mobile development expertise in Flutter, including Clean Architecture, state management (BLoC, Cubit, Riverpod), and performance optimization Experience integrating payment gateways, tokenization, 3DS, fraud prevention, and PCI compliance within e-commerce platforms Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform Experience with complex integrations involving ERP, OMS, CRM, messaging, and streaming systems Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor junior team members Responsibilities Develop and maintain custom applications within VTEX IO and Store Themes, ensuring seamless integration with VTEX APIs and third-party services Build high-performance, responsive storefronts optimized for Core Web Vitals, SSR, and caching strategies Design, develop, and maintain microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs using Node.js and TypeScript Implement security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, and secrets management to safeguard applications and data Ensure system observability through structured logging, metrics, tracing, and documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger Develop mobile applications using Flutter, adhering to Clean Architecture principles and performance best practices Integrate mobile payment methods, push notifications, real-time WebSocket communication, and Firebase services Automate CI/CD pipelines for mobile and web applications, including code signing and version management Implement payment processing flows including tokenization, 3DS, reconciliation, and error handling, ensuring PCI compliance and fraud prevention measures Collaborate with business, finance, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-quality development environment Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support development and operational activities Participate in designing systems for high availability, resilience, and fault tolerance in critical payment and commerce flows Benefits Eleven (11) paid holidays annually Two (2) weeks of paid vacation per year Health, dental, disability, and life insurance coverage Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and inclusive work environment fostering innovation Equal Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
