Sr Mobile Developer

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer to help design, build, and scale our customer-facing mobile applications. This role will play a key part in delivering intuitive, high-performance experiences used by thousands of customers while partnering closely with Product, Design, QA, and backend engineering teams. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React Native , a passion for creating polished user experiences, and experience building and maintaining production mobile applications across both iOS and Android. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality React Native applications for iOS and Android. Build intuitive, performant, and accessible user experiences for consumer-facing mobile products. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and backend engineers to deliver new features from concept through production. Architect scalable, maintainable, and reusable mobile application components. Optimize application performance, startup time, memory usage, and responsiveness. Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, authentication, push notifications, analytics, and third-party SDKs. Ensure high application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. Troubleshoot production issues and implement monitoring and performance improvements. Mentor junior engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices. Participate in architectural discussions and help establish engineering standards for the mobile platform. Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and mobile release processes. Stay current with React Native, iOS, Android, and mobile development best practices. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. 3+ years developing production mobile applications using React Native. Experience publishing and maintaining applications in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and modern React architecture. Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, and navigation patterns. Experience integrating REST APIs and modern authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, SSO). Familiarity with native mobile concepts for both iOS and Android. Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of application performance optimization and debugging. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Expo or React Native CLI. Experience using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query, or similar state management libraries. Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client. Familiarity with native Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java. Experience implementing mobile analytics platforms such as Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel. Experience with crash reporting and monitoring tools such as Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks including Jest, React Native Testing Library, and Detox. Experience with feature flagging and A/B testing platforms. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Show more Show less
