Business Intelligence (BI) Developer / Data Engineer
Description
The client is a nonprofit organization focused on social-emotional learning and child development, operating at meaningful scale with a growing data and analytics function. The team has already designed and implemented a Microsoft Azure/Fabric lakehouse and is now ready to expand it — bringing in priority source-system data from five distinct platforms. With an established medallion architecture, naming conventions, and security standards already in place, this engagement is focused on execution: source assessment, pipeline development, transformation, validation, documentation, and a clean internal handoff. The selected contractor will work directly with internal technology leaders and reporting stakeholders to define source-to-target mappings, build reliable ingestion and transformation pipelines, and prepare curated datasets ready for Power BI and analytics consumption. Source systems in scope include an MDR platform, an internal LMS, Marketo, Zendesk, and ADP (with required anonymization/de-identification of HR and payroll data) .
