Cyber Security Analyst

MUST HAVES At least 4 years of experience in security engineering/analysis Hands-on experience working with EDR/XDR tools or antivirus software, such as SentinelOne or Microsoft Defender Expertise with Active Directory Strong communication and attention to detail Minimum of a 2-year degree and equivalent working experience PLUSSES Expertise in SentinelOne, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, Cisco Secure Endpoint, etc. Experience with Grey matter Previous experience with Vulnerability Management Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and CyberArk Experience documenting SOPs Certifications such as CISSP or Security+ Experience within cloud environments Background in Security Operations Center (SOC) Exposure to SCADA or Operational Technology (OT) environment Insight Global is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join one of their utility clients in the DFW area. This individual will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across the organization. This position involves triaging security alerts, identifying false positives, and leveraging EDR/XDR tools—such as Microsoft Defender—to detect and mitigate risks. The engineer will support incident response efforts and contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
