We?re Hiring ? Procurement Specialist Casasanta Baking Solutions | Brantford, Ontario We build real equipment for real production environments. Industrial ovens. Proofers. Conveyors. Pizza systems. Custom bakery equipment ? designed, built, and assembled in-house. None of it happens without the right materials showing up on time, at the right price. That?s where you come in. We?re looking for a Procurement Specialist who can juggle suppliers, deadlines, and production demands without breaking a sweat. This isn?t a "cut a PO and wait" role ? you?ll be in the middle of the action, keeping a fast-moving manufacturing floor stocked and running. What you?ll be doing: * Sourcing materials, equipment, and services ? and negotiating like it?s your own money * Managing POs through our ERP system, start to finish * Building supplier relationships across Canada, the US, and overseas * Chasing down late shipments before they become production problems * Digging into inventory and purchasing trends to stay ahead of demand * Working shoulder-to-shoulder with Production, Engineering, and Warehouse teams You?ll do well here if you: * Negotiate hard but keep relationships intact * Stay calm when three things are on fire at once * Actually enjoy solving supply chain puzzles * Take ownership instead of waiting to be told What we?re looking for: * 3?5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing * ERP/MRP system experience * Strong Excel and negotiation skills * Bonus points: food or industrial manufacturing background, capital equipment purchasing experience Why people like working here: * Your decisions have a direct, visible impact on production * Fast-paced, no two days the same * Family-owned company, real growth opportunity * You?ll actually see what you buy turn into finished equipment Apply: hr@lcbakery.com Know someone who eats supply chain chaos for breakfast?
