Senior Python Developer Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite per Week) Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with 6–7+ years of professional software development experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and developing scalable backend applications using Python and experience building modern web applications with React.js . This role involves developing enterprise-grade applications, RESTful APIs, cloud-based solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Job Duties Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python . Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Django, or Flask . Build responsive user interfaces using React.js , JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Design and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL and write complex SQL queries. Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, reporting, and system integration. Build and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources. Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise applications. Develop and deploy applications using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins . Utilize Docker for containerization and application deployment. Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and production support. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment. Mentor junior developers and contribute to software architecture and technical design discussions. Prepare technical documentation and follow software development best practices. Work under supervision. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering (Any), or a closely related field. 6–7+ years of professional software development experience. 6+ years of hands-on experience with Python development. Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask . Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services. Experience with React.js development. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL. Experience working with AWS cloud services. Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD tools. Experience with Docker and microservices architecture. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
