Position Summary The Dishwasher supports daily back-of-house operations by ensuring all dishware, cookware, utensils, and glassware are cleaned and sanitized according to established standards. This position is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment, aligned with the service excellence expected at Stone Eagle Winery. Key Responsibilities * Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishware, cookware, utensils, and glassware * Monitor dishwasher temperature and chemical levels to ensure compliance with food safety standards * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit, sinks, and surrounding areas * Take out trash, recyclables, and compost in accordance with waste management procedures * Assist with cleaning of kitchen equipment, prep surfaces, floors, and storage areas * Restock clean kitchen tools and equipment as needed to support line and prep cooks * Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures * Follow direction from the kitchen leadership to meet service demands * Collaborate respectfully with back-of-house team members to maintain a clean and productive environment Qualifications & Requirements * Dependable transportation to and from the winery * Strong work ethic and consistent punctuality * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs * Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $17.60 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: * Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person
