Description

Company Description PlayFast Motion is transforming how lacrosse players and coaches approach training through a smart wearable sensor and mobile app that deliver real-time performance data. The platform helps athletes train smarter, track progress, and measure improvement over time. Built by athletes for athletes, PlayFast combines motion tracking, machine learning, and gamified feedback to make training both effective and engaging. From high school players aiming for the next level to coaches driving player development, PlayFast turns effort into actionable data that fuels performance growth. What you will do • Own and polish our iOS app (Swift, SwiftUI) so it is reliable and beta ready, the product is vibe coded and will need professional polish • Instrument the app with PostHog so we can see what users actually do, and run A/B experiments. • Build the coach dashboards on web (Next.js, TypeScript) where coaches and players see their training data. as feedback comes in from beta testers, adding and cutting features as we learn. What we are looking for • You have shipped a real iOS app you can show us (Swift, ideally SwiftUI). • You can build and own web frontend work too (Next.js, TypeScript, React). • You have a product brain: you have shipped a feature, watched how people used it, and changed something because of what you saw. • You like early stage ambiguity and owning things end to end. Proficient with AI Bonus • Sports tech, wearables, or any sensor plus app product. The details • A contract that starts as a sprint, then settles in. Roughly 30 to 40 hours per week for the first 6 to 8 weeks to get to beta, then a lighter ongoing role of about 8 to 12 hours per week. • Rate is $80 to $115 per hour depending on experience. • Columbus, Ohio is a strong plus. We would rather build side by side in person, but we will do remote (US, overlapping time zones) for the right person. • A real path to a full time lead role as we close our raise. • You will sign a standard IP assignment agreement, meaning your work belongs to PlayFast.
