SummaryThe Financial Close Controller team is seeking a highly motivated Manager to be a part of the Controller organization's transformative journey towards becoming trusted and valued business partners delivering Financial Results in an entirely new way through best-in-class people, processes and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the optimization and automation of Accounts Payable processes including invoice entry, payment processing, and help desk functions. This includes spearheading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency through process re-engineering and technology adoption. Work closely with the Procurement and Treasury teams, as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support company-wide initiatives impacting Accounts Payable, such as SAP integrations and enhancements. Help manage project lifecycles from requirements gathering and solution design to successful implementation and ongoing support.Design, develop, implement, and manage automated dashboards to track key performance metrics (KPIs), provide operational insights, and help manage team capacity effectively.Support the financial results close process to ensure accurate, complete and timely results through:Partnership with various business unit stakeholders to understand the businessReview and critical analysis of financial resultsManagement of risks and provisionsSupport of various internal and external reportingPreparation, review and/or approval of month end transactional processesSupport of control environment and audit requirementsSupport various special projectsCritical QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting, Business / Commerce or other relevant area.CPA considered an asset.2-3 years experience in Finance / Accounting or other relevant area.Strong proficiency in MS applications including Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.Strong proficiency in automation and AI.Working knowledge of SAP-FI, SAP-BI, and associated accounting systems considered an asset.Understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes and systems, in the areas of invoice processing, payment execution, vendor support, reconciliation, and compliance also considered an asset.Preferred QualificationsInnovation Mindset: Ability to support a culture of innovation ? a personal interest in upskilling in latest digital and technology trends.Process Improvement & Re-engineering: Capability to analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design optimized future-state processes for automation and efficiency.Project Management: Experience managing project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation.Change Management: Skill in guiding teams and stakeholders through significant process and system transformations, ensuring adoption and minimizing disruption.Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Collaboration & Relationship-Building: Strong collaboration and
