Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android)

About The Role The role drives the development of native mobile applications, focusing on delivering high-performance, responsive, and intuitive user experiences for iOS or Android. This engineer will translate complex design concepts and product requirements into clean, scalable native code that interacts seamlessly with backend APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional product teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to shape the future of mobile architecture. The role demands deep technical ownership of application performance, offline capabilities, and CI/CD automation pipelines. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable native mobile architectures using Swift/UIKit/SwiftUI for iOS or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android Optimize application performance, memory footprint, and network latency to ensure a smooth, high-fidelity user experience Integrate and maintain complex RESTful APIs and WebSocket connections for real-time data synchronization Write robust unit, integration, and UI tests to maintain high code coverage and ensure platform stability Collaborate with UX/UI designers to build custom animations and highly interactive responsive layouts Manage app store release processes, including automated testing, TestFlight/Beta distribution, and App Store or Google Play deployment pipelines What We Are Looking For 3–6 years of professional experience in native mobile application development on iOS or Android Strong proficiency in Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI (for iOS) or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose (for Android) Deep understanding of mobile-specific design patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or VIPER, alongside reactive programming patterns Experience with local storage solutions, multithreading, and offline-first data caching strategies Solid understanding of the mobile application lifecycle and platform-specific API capabilities Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks, mobile telemetry/observability tools (Crashlytics, Datadog), or contribution to open-source mobile libraries Show more Show less
