Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Follow-Up Specialist Job Type: Full-Time Location: Onsite Schedule: Monday?Friday, 8:00 AM?5:00 PM Salary: $18.00?$25.00 per hour, based on experience Application Deadline: July 24 Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable (AR) Follow-Up Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing accounts receivable, following up on outstanding invoices, and working with QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities * Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and overdue payments. * Perform collections while maintaining professional customer relationships. * Create and process customer invoices and ensure timely billing. * Maintain and update accounts receivable records in QuickBooks. * Process customer payments and reconcile accounts. * Perform bank reconciliations and investigate payment discrepancies. * Prepare AR aging reports and assist with collections activities. * Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email regarding account balances. * Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records. * Maintain confidentiality of financial information. Required Qualifications * Minimum 1?2 years of Accounts Receivable (AR) or AR Follow-Up experience. * Proficiency in QuickBooks. * Experience with collections, billing, and bank reconciliations. * Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. * Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. * Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in a fast-paced accounting environment. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. * Experience preparing AR aging reports and resolving account discrepancies.
