The Role You'll turn ideas into working, demoable AI solutions on a short cycle — typically 2–3 weeks from concept to something a client can see and react to. When a prototype proves out, you'll hand it off with a clear written spec so it can be built into production software. What You'll Do • Build rapid prototypes on 2–3 week cycles • Develop AI workflows, prompt and orchestration logic, and lightweight interfaces • Integrate SAP-relevant data with external AI services • Translate ambiguous business problems into working technical solutions • Support demos and client conversations • Hand off proven prototypes to our AI Developer team with a written spec What You'll Bring • Hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, and SQL • Comfort working with REST and OData APIs • Experience building fast, lightweight interfaces (Streamlit, Next.js, or similar) • Working knowledge of Git and basic Docker • Experience with LLM SDKs and agent/tool-use frameworks (e.g., MCP) • Practical experience with prompt and context engineering, agent orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation • A bias toward speed, balanced with the discipline to document what you build so someone else can pick it up Nice to Have • Working knowledge of SAP data objects • AWS or Azure AI practitioner credentials, or SAP BTP fundamentals What We Offer • A high-velocity build environment — your prototypes go in front of real clients, fast • Direct exposure to client conversations, not just backlog tickets • Hybrid flexibility (Troy/Birmingham, MI area) • Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
