Introduction We are looking for a driven, full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer ?S? who is a Licensed Mechanic with experience in structural mechanics for small aircraft. The AME is responsible for conducting planned and unplanned maintenance on aircrafts and requires an AME ?S? license to be successful. Position Overview This position is a full-time, permanent position with working schedule of 40 hours per week with potential weekend scheduling. Overtime is available. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESConducting planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company proceduresPerform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines and componentsEnsure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standardsInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, etc.Maintaining an organized, clean and safe hangar environment QUALIFICATIONSValid Transport Canada AME S licenseExperience working on general aviation M1 aircraftAvailable to work weekendsComputer proficiencyKnowledge in CARs regulationsAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCONSIDERING A CAREER WITH KOVACHIK AIRCRAFT SERVICES?Founded in 1962, KAS provides complete aircraft maintenance services to clients throughout Burlington and the surrounding areas.
