Job Summary We are seeking a Mid-Senior Level Native Android Developer to design, build and maintain high-quality Android applications. This role will work closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers to deliver scalable, user-friendly mobile solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in native Android development, a solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and a passion for creating reliable, high-performing applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features. Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions. Write clean, maintainable and efficient code following Android development best practices. Optimize application performance, quality and responsiveness. Troubleshoot, debug and resolve production issues and defects. Implement secure, scalable and reusable mobile application components. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, release processes and automated testing efforts. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of experience in native Android development. Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with working knowledge of Java. Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio and modern Android development tools. Solid understanding of Android UI design principles, Material Design and responsive layouts. Experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP or Clean Architecture. Familiarity with Jetpack components, including Room, Navigation, LiveData and ViewModel. Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON data. Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows. Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Jetpack Compose. Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger or Hilt. Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks. Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments. Experience publishing and maintaining apps in the Google Play Store. Nice to Have Experience with performance monitoring and analytics tools. Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
