IntroductionWe are looking for a driven, full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer ?M1? Apprentice who has experience in small aircraft. The AME is responsible for conducting planned and unplanned maintenance on aircrafts and requires M1 knowledge to be successful.Opportunities in Parry Sound/Muskoka and Burlington. Position OverviewThis position is a full-time, permanent position with working schedule of 40 hours per week with potential weekend scheduling. Overtime is available.Opportunities available in Parry Sound/Muskoka and Burlington.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESConducting planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company proceduresPerform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines and componentsEnsure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standardsInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, etc.Maintaining an organized, clean and safe hangar environmentQUALIFICATIONSExperienced AME ApprenticeExperience working on general aviation M1 aircraft and systemsAvailable to work weekendsComputer proficiencyKnowledge in CARs regulationsAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCONSIDERING A CAREER WITH KOVACHIK AIRCRAFT SERVICES?Founded in 1962, KAS provides complete aircraft maintenance services to clients throughout Burlington and the surrounding areas.
