Why Join WLS Plumbing? * Work alongside experienced plumbers in a supportive team environment * Diverse mix of residential, commercial, and high-rise projects * No two days are the same?you'll tackle everything from service calls and diagnostics to renovations and new construction * Well-equipped trucks, quality tools, and organized systems * Opportunities to expand your skills in camera inspections, flood protection systems, gas work, and commercial plumbing * A company that values quality workmanship, professionalism, and doing the job right the first time What You'll Work On Our team performs a wide range of plumbing services, including: * Plumbing fixture repairs and replacements * Heating and gas work (hot water tanks, gas piping, etc.) * Water and sewer service replacements * Leak detection and repairs * Drain cleaning and troubleshooting * Sewer camera inspections and diagnostics * Mainline backwater valve installations * Sump pump and sump pit installations * Residential renovations * Custom home construction * Commercial and high-rise plumbing projects Responsibilities * Deliver high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service * Complete plumbing installations, repairs, diagnostics, and service calls safely and efficiently * Perform sewer camera inspections and accurately diagnose drainage and sewer issues * Install and service mainline backwater valves, sump pumps, and other flood prevention systems * Track labour hours and materials used on each project * Maintain organized truck stock and order materials as required * Document job progress with photos and detailed notes * Complete site reports and required paperwork * Identify and document any pre-existing site conditions or damages * Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and office staff * Follow company procedures, safety standards, and work orders Qualifications * 4+ years of plumbing experience * Solid understanding of the Ontario Plumbing Code * Valid G Driver's Licence * Experience with drain diagnostics, sewer camera inspections, and plumbing service work is an asset * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail * Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to follow instructions while taking initiative when appropriate * Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform work involving bending, climbing ladders, and working in crawl spaces Assets * Red Seal Plumbing Certification * Class "B" Gas Technician Licence * Experience installing backwater valves, sump pumps, and flood protection systems Working Conditions * Indoor and outdoor work in a variety of environments * Exposure to dust, noise, weather, and construction conditions * Use of required PPE, including steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, and other protective equipment * Standard 8-hour workdays with occasional overtime * Participation in an on-call rotation (approximately one week every 4?5 weeks) Requirements * 3?5 years of plumbing experience (required) * Valid Driver's Licence (required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company car * Dental care * Disability insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: * Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * plumbing: 4 years (required) Licence/Certification: * drivers license (required) Work Location: In person
