Seeking an Assistant Manager for Tim Horton's restaurant located in Halifax. This is a full-time position with competitive wages and health/dental benefits. Tim Horton's experience would be an asset. Duties * Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies * Supervise and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service * Support marketing initiatives by implementing promotional campaigns and engaging with customers * Conduct training & development sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge * Assist in budgeting, inventory purchasing, and ensuring optimal stock levels for store operations * Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels * Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times Requirements * Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a retail environment * Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a team effectively * Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and organizational abilities * Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills * Experience with merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and marketing techniques * Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while prioritizing tasks effectively * Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of store management * Leadership qualities with a focus on customer service excellence and team collaboration This Assistant Manager position is integral to the success of our retail operations.
