Assistant Store Manager ? Take 5 Oil Change Ajax Location: Ajax, Ontario Job Type: Full-time Pay: CA$19.00?CA$22.00 per hour Schedule: Weekdays, evenings and weekends Job Description Take 5 Oil Change Ajax is hiring an experienced Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team and support daily shop operations. This is a very hands-on position. The Assistant Store Manager is expected to work directly on customer vehicles alongside the team. This is not an office-only management role, performing oil changes and preventative maintenance services is a core part of the job. Responsibilities * Work directly on customer vehicles throughout each shift * Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance services * Lead, coach and support technicians * Train employees and ensure safety procedures are followed * Recommend appropriate vehicle maintenance services * Handle customer concerns and act as Manager on Duty when required * Assist with opening, closing, inventory and daily paperwork * Maintain a clean, safe and efficient shop Qualifications * Minimum 2?3 years of automotive, quick-lube or similar hands-on experience required * Must be confident servicing common vehicle makes and models * Must be willing to work on vehicles every shift and lead by example * Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred * Strong customer service and communication skills * Reliable, organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment * Available to work evenings and weekends * Valid Ontario driver?s licence preferred What We Offer * Performance incentives * Paid training and employee discounts * Full-time hours * Opportunities for advancement If you have strong automotive experience, enjoy working on vehicles and are ready to take on a leadership role, apply through Indeed with your resume.
