Automation Test Engineer

Automation Test Engineer (Only US Citizens & GreenCard Holders) Location: Connecticut Long-Term Project Note: Candidates must be local to Hartford, CT Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in QA automation and software testing. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, and Artefacts). Strong experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and VBScript or another programming language. Experience developing and maintaining UI, API, backend, and automation frameworks. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong knowledge of functional, regression, API, database, performance, security, accessibility, and web application testing. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs , SQL, and enterprise application testing. Ability to create test plans, test cases, execute testing, and manage defects through resolution. Experience working on large-scale enterprise software development projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience with .NET, SharePoint, or Salesforce applications. Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and object-orientated programming principles. Experience with enterprise system integration and automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Perform UI, API, backend, database, and regression testing. Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile environment. Ensure software quality through continuous testing and process improvement.
