Position: Journeyman General Technician Location: Calgary, AB Schedule: Monday to Friday Employment Type: Full-Time Shaganappi GM is looking for a skilled and motivated Journeyman General Technician to join our busy and growing Service Department! What You?ll Be Doing As a Journeyman General Technician, you will be responsible for: * Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles efficiently and accurately * Performing general maintenance and mechanical repairs * Completing professional video inspections on customer vehicles * Clearly documenting repair findings, recommendations, and completed work * Communicating effectively with Service Advisors, Parts, and other team members * Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area * Following dealership procedures, GM standards, and safety requirements * Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-focused shop environment What We?re Looking For The successful candidate will have: * Journeyman Automotive Service Technician License required * Red Seal certification required * Minimum 5 years of automotive technician experience * Strong verbal and written English communication skills * Ability to complete clear, professional video inspections * Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills * Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude * A neat, organized, and professional approach to their work * Ability to work well in a team environment * Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record * GM dealership experience is considered an asset Why Join Shaganappi GM?
