AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary: Implement, automate, operate, and support AWS cloud platforms and services within an enterprise cloud transformation program. The role collaborates closely with architects and delivery teams to build secure, reliable, scalable, and well-documented cloud solutions. Experience : 6 -10 yrs overall Work Model : Hybrid / Remote Key Responsibilities: ● Implement AWS infrastructure and platform services based on approved architecture designs, standards, and security requirements. ● Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Cloud Formation for repeatable, consistent, and controlled AWS environment provisioning. ● Deploy and support AWS compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, security, and shared platform services. ● Collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, application teams, and operations stakeholders to build and deploy cloud solutions. ● Configure Cloud Watch or similar tools for monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerting, and operational visibility. ● Support deployment automation, production troubleshooting, incident response, runbook execution, and operational handover documentation. ● Maintain secure, reliable, and scalable AWS environments in alignment with approved architecture and operational standards. ● Assist with cloud service deployment, monitoring, issue resolution, and documentation across AWS platform environments. Required Skills: ● Hands-on AWS engineering experience with IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, Route 53, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, KMS, and AWS security services. ● Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, Git, CI/CD pipelines, AWS CLI, Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting, and infrastructure automation practices. ● Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or EKS, monitoring, logging, reliability practices, and production cloud operations is preferred. ● Proactive and collaborative, with strong technical proficiency, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational ownership skills. ● Ability to automate AWS infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code. ●  Strong understanding of secure, reliable, and scalable AWS cloud operations across infrastructure, platform, and application environments. Qualifications / Certifications: 6–10 years of IT experience, including 4+ years of hands-on experience in AWS implementation, cloud operations, DevOps, or platform engineering. Experience supporting healthcare, payer, enterprise infrastructure, or regulated production environments is preferred. Strong experience implementing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure, platform services, and operational processes. Ability to work across AWS cloud operations, DevOps automation, platform engineering, and production support environments. Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
