AWS Cloud Operations Engineer

Job Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills AWS Cloud Operations L2 Engineer (Export Control Eligible) Strong working experience in Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS/Azure) especially in Cloud infrastructure. Hands on experience & knowledge of cloud components (EC2, Load balancers, IAM, VPC, Storage solutions, S3, Cloud formation, Compute, Bastion hosts, cloud watch, subnets, Routing etc.) Have led in implementing and defining Infrastructure as Code tools including CloudFormation Templates, Chef, Jenkins, Terraform, Git. Working experience with various agent types (e.g. Qualys, CrowdStrike, Splunk, New Relic, Chef, Prisma, etc.) Ability to understands & identify relevant integrations and interfaces to other GE or external systems Proficiency in managing and configuring core IAM (Identity and Access Management) services within IT infrastructure. Expertise in setting up and managing security groups and network ACLs in AWS. Ability to configure and validate backups, mount storage, and implement cybersecurity tools. Experience in setting up and verifying logging and monitoring tools. Competence in managing load balancers with authentication and installing SSL certificates for secure application deployment. Capability to ensure secure and scalable cloud environments using AWS services. Require d Skills AWS & Cloud Technologies Strong hands on experience with AWS services including: Cloud Networking, Security EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, SG/NLB/ALB EKS / ECS, CloudWatch, Route 53 Operating Systems & Networking Advanced troubleshooting skills in Linux and Windows Server Strong understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, and security concepts DevOps & Automation Scripting experience using Python, Bash or similar Hands on experience with AWS CloudFormation Experience implementing operational automation and monitoring improvements Leadership & Communication Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to lead incident calls and coordinate across multiple teams by ITIL practice. 10+ years of experience in infrastructure and/or cloud operations 5+ years of hands on AWS experience Proven experience managing major incidents and escalations Preferred Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified Security – Specialty ITIL Foundation (Preferred) Generic Managerial Skills, If any Experience leading technical operations in a 24x7 production support environment Proven experience managing major incidents and escalations________________________________________ Base Salary Range : $100,000 to $110,000 Per Annum TCS Employee Benefits Summary Discretionary Annual Incentive.
