Description: As a member of our Cloud Services team, you will have the opportunity to assist healthcare customers with the design, implementation, and management of AWS public cloud services, including mission critical workloads like EHRs. You will work in direct partnership with leadership and engagement managers to support our customers with realizing the value of public cloud within healthcare. Essential Functions (Other duties may be assigned): Healthcare experience is required for this role! Support small and medium businesses with their adoption of AWS’s public cloud including complex areas like data analytics, AI, ML, and containers. Work with clients to understand their requirements and architect suitable solutions Work with the Sales team to articulate key benefits of Hosting and Cloud technology to clients Keep up to date on technology innovation within AWS’s many services Architect, deploy & maintain Cloud solutions including a variety of services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) Lead customer design efforts to ensure technology appropriately meets business needs Ensure proper integration between a customer’s software applications and infrastructure architecture Ensure solutions are maintained for high availability, scalability, security, and supportability Oversee information systems security safeguards for these cloud solutions Develop detailed implementation plans for implementing cloud solutions including establishing key milestones and finalizing budget/scope Assist with executing system validation and preparing the organization for transition Creation of Infrastructure-as-Code to automate client deployments and increase repeatability Contributing to the creation of Statement of Work (SOW) documents Education/Experience Requirements: 6+ years of experience in a solutions architect or similar role; 4+ years focused on cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures 2+ years of healthcare IT related experience Degree in any related field or equivalent experience Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud. Experience supporting both Microsoft and Open-Source operating systems Understanding of hybrid cloud environments Hands on experience with establishing net new/green field cloud environments Experience with the full life cycle of a cloud migration Experience with architecture and automation of Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability including virtual networks, virtual machines, cloud services, web sites, data services, RDS, etc. Advanced skills diagnosing and resolving issues independently and as part of a team Experience with Continuous Deployment, Automation, Chef, Puppet, with Open-Source tools (e.g., Jenkins) and DevOps Understanding of cloud-based data analytics solutions AWS Architect certifications would be a plus! A passion for leveraging technology Nice to have: Experience using, deploying, or operating Epic (roles like ECSA, ODBA, etc.) Experience with other Clouds like Azure and GCP in a plus Strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud networking architecture Experience with SaaS/Cloud protection solutions (e.g., CASB) Experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems Information systems security certification (e.g. Security +, CISSP) Experience with consulting engagements Kubernetes/AKS experience HPC experience AI/ML Experience Experience with Healthcare Applications and enterprise EHRs is plus.
