Backend Developer | $90/hr Remote

Position: Software Engineer Type: Contract Compensation: $30 - $90/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize backend and frontend systems using Java, JavaScript, and Python. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange across distributed systems. Model, query, and maintain SQL databases to support high-performance and scalable applications. Champion clean code practices, rigorous unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows for continuous delivery. Work collaboratively in Agile teams, transforming requirements into robust technical solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software and system issues rapidly. Contribute to system architecture discussions, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and cloud deployment best practices. Requirements Have strong relevant experience in software engineering, with expertise in Java, JavaScript, and Python. In-depth knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming is required. Proficiency with SQL databases, API integrations, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential. Solid experience with Git, version control workflows, and Agile methodologies is necessary. Strong background in CI/CD, unit testing, debugging, and writing clean, maintainable code is expected. Proven ability to design and build scalable, high-performance software systems is required.
