Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Barista to join our team, during the week (Tuesday - Friday) The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for help during the weekdays (Tuesday to Friday). Training is provided?just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn as much as you can! Responsibilities * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. * Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. * Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop, including the preparation area, dining area, and equipment. * Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. * Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist with restocking as necessary. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. * Uphold company policies regarding health and safety standards. Qualifications * Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. * Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. * Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * A friendly demeanour with a willingness to help others. * Fluency in English and French is preferred Join our team and bring your passion for coffee to life while providing an exceptional experience for our customers!
