Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a keen ability to create high-quality beverages while ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. * Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. * Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety standards. * Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. * Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. * Uphold food handling practices to ensure the safety and quality of all products served. * Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment. * Have good music taste! Experience * Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. * Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Smart Serve is Required. * Food Handers Certificate is Required. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
