Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. The Barista will be responsible for creating a positive experience for our customers and ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages accurately and efficiently. * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling. * Handle cash transactions accurately, including giving change and processing payments. * Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products. * Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation stations, counters, and equipment. * Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. * Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner. * Assist with basic food preparation tasks when necessary, such as assembling food items or snacks. * Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Skills * Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred. * Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. * Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Experience with serving beverages and food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory. * Latte Art * Own transportation preferred Join our team to deliver exceptional coffee experiences while developing your skills in a dynamic environment!
