Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the bar area, managing inventory, and adhering to food safety regulations. Responsibilities * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly. * Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. * Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed. * Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations. * Handle cash transactions securely and accurately; manage cash handling procedures effectively. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. * Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently managing multiple tasks during busy periods. Skills * Proven experience in the food industry with a focus on bartending or restaurant roles. * Familiarity with Micros POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests. * Excellent time management abilities to handle high-volume service periods effectively. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements. * Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. * A passion for hospitality and serving others in a friendly manner.
