Business Analyst Type: Direct Hire Location: Phoenix, AZ Work Setting: Onsite Overview Our client, a well-established organization within the financial services and legal space, is seeking a Business Analyst to support the growth of its internal IT organization. This position will play a key part in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather, define, and document business and functional requirements Create detailed documentation including process flows, user stories, user journeys, use cases, acceptance criteria, and test cases Act as a liaison between business and development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented Support testing and validation efforts to ensure solutions meet business needs Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation Proactively identify risks and assist in mitigation planning Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile software development environment Experience creating technical and functional documentation Exposure to document generation technologies (XML preferred) Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Solid understanding of Business Analyst methodologies and best practices Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Experience within legal, mortgage, or financial services industries Experience working in Agile environments Knowledge of SQL and/or SSRS Show more Show less
