Business Analyst

The Business Analyst Specialist provides the organization with operational support and delivery of new business demand, establishing priorities and alignment to business strategic objectives, ensuring delivery approaches and technology solutions result in business value and benefits realization. The role also provides a point of escalation for stakeholders to help build a strong IT-Business relationship. The Business Analyst Specialist delivers insight of system capability to support key decisions. Essential Functions :Engaging with Customer sResponsible for building and maintaining a strong business-IT relationship with a key stakeholders and leaders to enable open communication and clear expectations regarding application development delivery .Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure prioritization and alignment to business strategic objectives .Act as a point of escalation on active initiatives . Plannin g:Prepares business cases working with business partner s.Collaborates heavily with Program Managers to initiate large projects, including resource planning, estimation, governance, approval, and kickof f.Contribute to the approach for requirements elicitation and methods for requirements management and communicatio n.Ensures business opportunities and objectives are clearly articulate d.Performs feasibility analysis as required for project s. Analysis, Design, Executi on:Assists with process improvement and/or reengineeri ng.Performs requirements elicitation, using techniques per pl an.Document requirements establishes scope and objectiv es.Prioritizes requirements working with business partners and creates conceptual prototypes and mock-u ps.Uses business process modeling, traceability and quality management techniques per methodolo gy.Performs requirements management and communication; apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solvi ng.Complies with Change Management practices Leaders hipWill take on assignments for large projects, and others as assign ed.Monitors the technical team solution to ensure requirements fulfillment and solution evaluati on.In conjunction with Program Manager and business partners, manages strategy, approach and needs of incoming projects within functi on.Leads and coordinates activities associated with requirements management vehicl es.Provides coaching to other BAs assigned to projects to successfully accomplish objectiv es.
