POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to support the growth of Bethel Publishing House Canada through client acquisition, strategic partnerships and revenue opportunities. The successful candidate will identify potential authors, organisations and partners, build strong professional relationships and connect clients with Bethel Publishing House?s approved publishing and media services. This role requires someone with experience or strong familiarity with book publishing, media, creative industries and relationship-based business development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Development & Client Acquisition * Identify and engage potential authors, publishing clients and strategic partners. * Generate and maintain a qualified business development pipeline. * Conduct professional client meetings and presentations. * Introduce clients to approved Bethel Publishing House services and packages. * Support client onboarding and successful handover to internal teams. * Build relationships that contribute to company growth and revenue. Publishing & Media Growth Develop opportunities within: * Book publishing. * Author development. * Media collaborations. * Leadership and ministry networks. * Corporate and organisational partnerships. * Events and speaking opportunities. Client Relationship Management * Maintain professional relationships with prospective and existing clients. * Understand client goals and recommend suitable approved services. * Work closely with Operations, Publishing and Editorial teams to ensure smooth client transition. * Ensure clients receive a professional Bethel Publishing House experience. Market Research & Partnerships * Research authors, organisations, industries and potential markets. * Identify strategic partnership opportunities. * Build networks within publishing, media, ministry and business communities. * Provide market feedback and growth recommendations to leadership. Reporting & Performance Tracking Provide regular reports including: * Leads generated. * Client meetings completed. * Proposals presented. * Client acquisition progress. * Partnership opportunities. * Revenue pipeline. FIRST THREE-MONTH PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS During the three-month trial period, the successful candidate will be expected to: * Establish a strong business development pipeline. * Generate qualified leads and opportunities. * Build relationships with potential clients and partners. * Secure approximately one (1) to two (2) paying clients per month, subject to successful agreements and client payment completion. * Demonstrate measurable contribution towards company revenue growth. Successful completion of the trial period may result in extension to a twelve-month employment agreement.
