Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team to work during the upcoming Saskatoon Exhibition July 30 - Aug 6th. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently processing transactions. This role requires a customer-focused individual who can handle sales, manage time effectively, and maintain an organized workspace. Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately. * Handle credit and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges. * Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the customer experience. * Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities. * Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Skills * Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing. * Sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. * Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace. * Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive shopping experience. * Experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Technical sales knowledge is a plus, enabling effective communication of product features and benefits.
