Our expectations: The Cashier manages all checkout functions by processing sales transactions. Your role: * Refund and monitor cash drawer amounts * Maintain checkout area * Perform opening procedures * Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and addressing issues The qualifications we are looking for: * Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information * At least 1 year of retail experience as a cashier * At least 1 year of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs. * Experience detecting common signs of shoplifting (e.g., merchandise hidden inside of containers, merchandise under carts, price labels switched) RONA is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion.
