As Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) , you will play a vital leadership role in protecting and improving the health and well being of communities across the province. Reporting to the Deputy Minister of Health and Wellness and accountable to the Minister, you will provide trusted, evidence based medical and public health leadership during both routine operations and times of urgency. This role is ideal for a purpose driven physician leader who is passionate about health promotion, disease prevention, and health protection-and who values collaboration, transparency, and public trust. You will work across government, health system partners, communities, First Nations, and national and international forums to influence policies and actions that shape the social, environmental, and economic determinants of health.
