Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist Address: New York, NY 10029 Shift: 4:00 PM-12:00 AM Contract: 8 weeks Pay rate: $55 to $58 About the Role Pride Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join the Pathology Department at a major healthcare facility in New York, NY . This role primarily supports Hematology , ensuring accurate testing, timely reporting, and compliance with laboratory standards. Responsibilities Perform and validate hematology laboratory tests following established protocols. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure quality control accuracy. Prepare and analyze specimens, documenting all results precisely. Adhere to laboratory safety and infection control standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and lab teams to ensure quality patient outcomes. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training as needed. Qualifications Education: Associate’s Degree from an accredited Laboratory Technology program (Bachelor’s preferred). Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Licensure: Valid NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (092) required. Preferred: BLS Certification; Hematology experience strongly preferred.
