This position is meant to help bridge the gap in transition from psychological services within the eating disorder continuum of care, and offers primarily individual intervention for transition and outpatient clients, with an assessment and group intervention component to the role as needed and appropriate. Psychodiagnostic assessments involve formulating and communicating psychiatric diagnosis using DSM-5-TR and are used to inform triaging of referrals and directing treatment planning. This would include assessment and interventions, both individual and group. This position functions autonomously. The Clinical Psychologist will act as resource to provide clinical expertise, consultation and leadership to other clinicians across programs that offer service to the eating disorders population. As needed. the Clinical Psychologist III participates in group therapy and facilitates meal support sessions through the HOPE program, including eating prepared meals with patients as part of therapeutic interventions to model healthy eating behaviors and support recovery. The position involves direct supervision of provisionally registered psychologists, psychology residents, and psychology students working within the specialty area of eating disorders. This position reports administratively to the Program Manager, HOPE program.
